What was your favorite moment?

We didn’t have one particular moment that stood out; every bit of our time at Secrets Akumal was exceptional. The moment we stepped out of the van to when we left, we felt like royalty. The service couldn’t have been better and the food was all plated so elegantly and was much better than we expected it to be. On our wedding day, everything seemed to just fall into place and we are entirely grateful for Sarahi, our coordinator, and Mariana, our photographer; they were excellent.

What did you enjoy the most about your resort?

I personally was a big fan of the quiet pool, soaking up some sun, being able to just relax and have drinks brought to me. Kaleigh says she loved the beach and the food. There’s nothing we could find to complain about at Secrets Akumal. When we returned to our room on the wedding night, they had placed rose petals around the room and on the bed spelling out “Love”. There were so many little details spread throughout our stay that really solidified our satisfaction with the place.

Is there anything else about Secrets Akumal that you’d like to talk about? 

We absolutely recommend it!
