We had an amazing time in Ireland! We had fantastic weather; we luckily didn’t have much rain, and if it did rain, it did not impact our activities at all!
The apartment in Dublin was in a great location for everything we wanted to do; we also enjoyed the separate space away from the bedrooms to use while the kids were sleeping.
The Maldron hotels in Galway and at the airport were great. We ate at both of their restaurants, too, and the breakfast in the Galway location was good. We wished we had more time to explore Galway, but we got there late on Thursday, did the Cliffs on Friday, and then left for Cork on Saturday.
The Leonardo hotel in Cork was a little cramped for us; it seemed like an older hotel and we didn’t have a lot of room with 2 queen beds and all of our luggage! We managed, though. We didn’t get to explore Cork much, either. We tried to get dinner Saturday but every place was super busy! Sunday we did Blarney and the beach and had dinner in Cobh.
I could not be more thankful for how seamless the trip was for us, though. From the driver getting us at the airport to the rental car and the accommodations, it was nice to not have to worry about those details ourselves. We appreciate all of the effort it took to plan this trip with us.
