"Overall, the trip was amazing!!!!"
Overall, the trip was amazing!!!! No complaints flying with United, and MEARS was totally worth the cost! The driver was friendly, on time, and super comfy transportation that got us to/from our resort super quick! Will definitely go with that private transportation in the future.
We also enjoyed our stay at the Contemporary. Kind of wished we could have had one more actual bed instead of the pull-out, but if that is the extent of our complaints, then all is well. The location was unbeatable for monorail transportation. Plus, at the end of our first night, the monorail line was so long coming from Magic Kingdom, so we ended up walking back to the Contemporary instead. I wouldn’t want to do that every time, but it was a pretty quick walk. Loved the resort overall and was cool to take the boat over to Wilderness Lodge for Storybook dining. We even rode right by the electrical water pageant on the way back from dinner.
After hours party at Hollywood Studios was THE BEST! Even though it was technically from 9:30pm-12:30am, we were allowed to enter the park at 7pm. So we did a 7:30pm dinner at Rodeo Round-up (very yummy, and food was brought to us so quickly). By the time we were done with dinner, the park had started emptying and all was basically walk-on. We rode over and over! My daughter even had room to do cartwheels down Hollywood Blvd.
All of the restaurants for sit-down meals were awesome. Food was good overall, and it was nice to have a sit-down air conditioning break already set up for us each day. My favorite meal was pad thai at space 220, and my favorite experience was Cinderella’s Royal Table… I almost started tearing up for my picture with Cinderella and the kids felt so special to be in that castle. My daughter got pixie-dusted at Be Our Guest too. The worker saw her dancing around and brought over this really expensive souvenir goblet that lights up. It was such a nice surprise!
Favorite rides were definitely 7 Dwarves Mine train, Tron, Tiana’s Bayou, Guardians of the Galaxy, and Tower of Terror.
I will be in touch for our next Disney trips and others for sure!
