Hawaii Honeymoon Testimonial

Sarah Molchany - Quakertown, PA

"Thank you for everything!"

The Royal Hawaiian was fun! It had beautiful grounds with the pool and beach right in the back and tons of shops right out front towards the Main Street. We had THE BEST French fries of our lives at the pool. Their beach was perfect for ppl learning to surf, it was rideable but calmer, and I’m bummed we didn’t decide to try, they had rentals but I don’t think they had lessons so we didn’t do it. It was definitely city vibe, lots of ppl. So many places to eat and drink tho. Our coffees that sat at a spot down the street was some of the best, plus by açaí bowl, also incredible.

Just overall everywhere, we had amazing food.

Grand Hyatt was incredible.

The breakfast was completely bonkers. They had several stations that had alternating food choices, you could get something different every day or get something similar every day. For the convenience and the price it’s worth it, starting the day off right.

The pools were open 24/7 and monitored at night so you are safe, bc anyone can walk right in, so they have someone around to check wristbands and info for safety. The salt water pool was amazing, the slide was so much fun! The lazy river with little mini waterfalls was amazing. There are 2 bars right there and servers if you want food or more drinks without getting up from your spot. Shipwreck beach had amazing and huge waves, and a spot where ppl jump off a cliff. Everyone was super friendly, it’s not private so locals come there and manny said it’s one of their favorites.

The restaurants were great, from a servers suggestion I got a coconut espresso martini! YO. Let me tell you, best I have ever had!!! The restaurants on site were expensive tho, so we did not have all meals/drinks there. Daily servicing of the rooms, which were very nice, staff in general were all very happy and really helpful. Never seemed bothered by their job, helping us, answering questions, they were so friendly.

Location wise, it’s perfect. Great weather and beaches that are nearby without driving even more than a few minutes were fun and offered different things! Poipu beach had sea turtles, monks seals, and a perfect spot for snorkeling, so if you want to have crashing waves, stay at shipwreck, wanna have more gentle waves and ability to snorkel, go 5 min down the road. Either way, bring water shoes!!! Just do it! We are all cut up from rocks and sea urchins.

#1 for me was the helicopter trip. We didn’t have doors off so you do get some glare, I would do doors off next time. I cried it was so beautiful!

#2 was snorkeling bc the fish we saw, oh my goodness we saw every fish you can think of! And sea turtle was out with us too! Just imagine us repeatedly screaming thru the snorkel at each other and pointing at things! 😂

#3 was the Waimea canyon

Thank you for everything!
