"It was a dream vacation."
It was a dream vacation. We have so many wonderful memories- Pearl Harbor, Dole Plantation (we went 2x to get the Dole Whip), being named High Chief at Toa Luau, the amazing sunsets and snorkeling with the beautiful fish on the reef just outside our hotel. We tried to eat local and found some amazing small family-owned restaurants. The best shrimp I have ever had was at 8 Fat Bar & Grill. The food truck area that was in walking distance from the resort had delicious food at reasonable prices.
If I had to choose my absolute favorite memory that would be swimming with sharks in the open water with One Ocean Diving. The staff were amazing and very knowledgeable. They even had warm peppermint cloths for us to sniff for motion sickness on the way back in. Highly recommend!
Chris had a wish come true as well- he got to play a round of golf at Turtle Bay. He even got a birdie on the 1st hole!
HHV is a beautiful resort. We found something new each day. The firework show on Friday was spectacular! Staff was very nice and accommodating. Ali tower is beautiful- just wish we were on the ocean side. Only negative was that they pretty much shut down at 10pm and there isn’t much to do other than enjoy the beach- which isn’t a bad thing.
On that I would like to thank you for all your assistance. Not only in planning our amazing vacation but also in walking us through the process and being there to assist us when we had questions or difficulty along the way. We will definitely reach out to plan our trip to Aruba in a couple years.
