Aruba was absolutely fantastic and married life is even better! I’ve been meaning to send you a note to thank you for your expert input about the area and for the very special welcoming gift at our hotel at the Bucuti. We adored Bucuti – the staff were very professional and extremely pleasant. The grounds were beautiful and the service top-notch. The beach can’t be beat – stunning! Kyle had the amazing fortune while out strolling one evening (I was getting ready for dinner at the hotel) to see baby sea turtles scrambling for shore after they hatched! Luckily, he took video so I could experience it too 🙂
Our Jeep rental turned out to be one of our highlights of the trip – we loved seeing the island on our own time and getting to some restaurants that would have otherwise been out of reach. Every restaurant we went to exceeded our expectations – we frequently enjoy fine-dining at home and Aruba had plenty of choices. And the amount of food!! We didn’t go hungry, that’s for sure.
One thing we kept saying about Aruba is that it’s so “easy” and hassle-free. It was easy to get to (direct flight from MSP), the drive to/from the airport is quick, they accept American currency, most everyone speaks English – yet you still feel like you’re in an exotic location. We’d recommend it (and do!) to anyone.

We may be in touch in the coming months as we’re looking into getting away early next year to escape the blistery, snowy, winter in Minnesota. We’d like to try somewhere new but haven’t started our research yet. We’ll be in touch!
