Jennifer Doncsecz “Get Away For A Great Price”
PHILADELPHIA – If you’re looking for a short getaway, like New York City, or even a trip to Ireland, now might be the time to book. Jennifer Doncsecz, president of VIP Vacations, joined “Good Day” to share three great vacation deals at prices you can’t beat.
First, you can travel to Ireland on Delta and stay for four nights in Dublin for $670 per person (plus air taxes). Yes, this is for airfare and four nights’ hotel! Travel November to December but Ireland is lovely in November with its pubs, cobblestone streets, and lovely museums. Prices for Ireland haven’t been this low in five years.
Second, NYC hasn’t seen a hotel priced so low: $199 for any day of the week, August to Sept. 5 including Labor Day weekend. The Sanctuary Hotel has this great price right in Times Square. Plus, if you book by July 13, they are even giving complimentary upgrades, free wifi, and these chic rooms are literally $110 less than their normal weekday rate.
Third, want to do a cruise to Alaska? Well, last minute sailing in August and September (perfect time to see Alaska) are running at really low rates with Princess. Pricing for select seven-night sailings start at $492 per person (plus airfare and taxes), but Doncsecz found space even over Labor Day. And, after the warmer months of June and July hit Alaska, the glaciers really start moving in August and September, which makes this time of year ideal to do a cruise.
